Set up reachpad with MCP

  1. Add reachpad to Claude

Open the connector dialog with the name and server URL filled in. Review both fields, then select Add.

    Add reachpad to Claude
    Add the connector by hand

In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors. Select +, then Add custom connector. Use reachpad as the name and paste this URL:

    https://reachpad.dev/mcp
  2. Authorize in your browser

In Claude, select Connect. A browser page opens. Choose Sign up if you are new to reachpad, or sign in with email, Google or GitHub, then approve the connection.

  3. Use reachpad in a chat

Start a new chat. Select +, then Connectors, and turn on reachpad. Leave Tool access set to Auto, then send:

Use reachpad to list my workspaces.

An empty list is a valid result on a new account.

  1. Add reachpad to Claude Code

Open Terminal or PowerShell, then run:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user reachpad https://reachpad.dev/mcp

If claude --version does not print a version, follow Anthropic's Claude Code setup guide first.

  2. Authorize in your browser

Run this in the same terminal:

    claude mcp login reachpad

Keep the terminal open. Sign up or sign in on the page that opens, then approve the connection. If the browser cannot return to the terminal, paste its full localhost URL at the terminal prompt.

  3. Use reachpad in Claude Code

    Run claude, then send:

Use reachpad to list my workspaces.

An empty list is a valid result on a new account.

  1. Add reachpad to Codex

Open Terminal or PowerShell, then run:

codex mcp add reachpad --url https://reachpad.dev/mcp

Codex adds the server and opens the reachpad sign-in page. If codex --version does not print a version, follow OpenAI's Codex CLI setup guide first.

  2. Authorize in your browser

Sign up or sign in on the page that opens, then approve the connection and return to the terminal.

    Reopen a closed sign-in page
    codex mcp login reachpad
  3. Use reachpad in Codex

Start or restart Codex by running codex, then send:

Use reachpad to list my workspaces.

An empty list is a valid result. On a new account, this first call finishes creating the reachpad account.

  1. Add reachpad to OpenCode

Open Terminal or PowerShell, then run:

opencode mcp add reachpad --url https://reachpad.dev/mcp

This adds the server, but it does not sign you in yet. If opencode --version does not print a version, follow the OpenCode setup guide first.

  2. Authorize in your browser

Run this in the same terminal:

    opencode mcp auth reachpad

Keep the terminal open. Sign up or sign in on the page that opens, then approve the connection.

  3. Use reachpad in OpenCode

    Run opencode, then send:

Use reachpad to list my workspaces.

An empty list is a valid result on a new account.

Reachpad uses the browser sign-in you complete here. There is no API key to create or paste into your agent.

brew install reachpad/tap/reachpad
