Workspaces

One workspace, one tab

Every workspace appears as a tab in the browser terminal. The tab is the whole interface: open it to attach, leave it and the workspace keeps running, come back and it is where you left it.

Open another with the “new workspace” button in the terminal. The usual shape is one workspace per concern: an agent on a task in one, your own shell in another, a second agent in a third.

Workspaces persist

A workspace is not a browser session. Closing the tab in your browser, or the whole browser, or the laptop, leaves the workspace running on the pad. What you installed, what an agent wrote, and your shell history are all still there on the next visit. The details are in what persists.

The same workspaces from any device

Your pad has its own address, and the terminal is a web page, so the workspace open on your laptop is the workspace open on your phone. A run you started at your desk is checkable from anywhere; see knowing when an agent needs you.
